These 5 days safari will take you to Queen Elizabeth National Park located in western Uganda in the district of Rubirizi, Kasese & Kanungu covering the total areas of 2000km second largest after Murchison falls. In this park we have Kazinga channel connecting L. Edward & L. George with the highest hippo and birds’ populations in Africa. At Ishasha sector, you will not miss seeing lions, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas, elephants, topis, waterbucks etc. while on the game drive. Also connected to L. katwe salt slicks and Twins Lakes of the Kichwamba Escarpment with stunning great views making this place the ‘Medley of Wonders’.
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Begin your 5 Days Uganda Safari with an early morning meet-up and briefing in Kampala. Depart for western Uganda, enjoying scenic stopovers along the way. Highlights include a visit to the Equator for photo moments and exploring local craft shops. Continue to Mbarara for lunch and later check in at Enshama Game Lodge.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
After breakfast, set out for a sunrise game drive in the Ishasha sector to spot early grazers and nocturnal wildlife such as lions, elephants, topis, and buffaloes. Return for lunch at the lodge, then head out for an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for hippos and birdlife like kingfishers and African fish eagles.

Day 3: Visit to Lake Katwe Salt Mine
Start your day with breakfast, followed by a visit to Lake Katwe, a natural salt lake within an explosion crater. Discover traditional salt mining practices by the local community. Enjoy views of the savannah landscape and return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Day 4: Twin Lakes Hike Experience
Enjoy breakfast, then transfer to Katunguru and hike to the Twin Lakes of Rubirizi. Take in the breathtaking views of Kyambura Gorge and the connected lakes. After lunch at the lodge, embark on an evening game drive.

Day 5: Return to Kampala
Conclude your 5 Days Uganda Safari with an early breakfast and lodge checkout. En route to Kampala, stop for lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara. Arrive in Kampala later in the day.
