This tailor-made safari takes you deep into Kenya’s wilderness for a serene and unforgettable African adventure. The journey introduces you to Amboseli National Park, renowned for its vast herds of elephants and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain in the world. You’ll also visit Tsavo National Park, famous for the legendary man-eaters of Tsavo and its distinctive red elephants. Your stay will be in luxurious lodges or tented camps within the parks, and you will be guided throughout by our experienced and knowledgeable guides.
Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Your 5 Day Amboseli & Tsavo Safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or airport in Nairobi at 7:00 AM. Travel south along the scenic Mombasa Road to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Amboseli Sopa Lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive, where you’ll see herds of elephants and other wildlife with the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. Spend approximately 2.5 hours exploring the park before returning for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day safari in Amboseli with a packed picnic lunch. The park offers excellent sightings of jackals, hyenas, baboons, antelopes, and the occasional leopard or cheetah. A visit to Observation Hill provides panoramic views of the entire park and Kilimanjaro. Enjoy your lunch here while watching wildlife at close range. Optional visit to a Maasai village available. Return to the lodge by 4:00 PM for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park
Begin with a sunrise game drive, then return for breakfast. Depart for Tsavo West, stopping briefly at the Shetani Lava Flow. Arrive at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge for lunch, followed by a game drive to see the park’s abundant wildlife and birds. Visit Mzima Springs to view hippos and crocodiles.

Day 4: Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park
After breakfast, proceed to Tsavo East National Park, enjoying game sightings en route. Check in at Ashnil Aruba Lodge for dinner and overnight. Highlights include Aruba Dam, Mudanda Rock, and if time permits, Lugard Falls.

Day 5: Tsavo East to Nairobi
Enjoy an early game drive before breakfast. Depart for Nairobi, arriving in the evening. Drop-off at your hotel or the airport marks the end of your 5 Day Amboseli & Tsavo Safari.
