Day 1: Welcome to Kigali – Arrival and Relaxation
Your 4 days Rwanda gorilla trekking adventure begins upon arrival at Kigali International Airport. A professional guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or take a short walk in the city to get a feel of Rwanda’s vibrant culture.

Day 2: Kigali Genocide Memorial – Transfer to Bwindi
After a relaxed breakfast, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial to commemorate the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. It is a powerful experience that offers deep insight into Rwanda’s history. Around 10:00 AM, begin a scenic 4-hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enjoy the lush views along the way as you cross into Uganda. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy a late lunch. Spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure using the hotel’s amenities.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience
After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing at 7:00 AM. Begin your unforgettable gorilla trekking experience through Bwindi Forest. The trek may take several hours, including one magical hour observing a gorilla family in their natural environment. This highlight of your 4 days Rwanda gorilla trekking itinerary promises moments you’ll never forget. Return to the lodge for lunch and a restful afternoon.

Day 4: Return to Kigali – Departure
After breakfast, begin the drive back to Kigali. On arrival, have lunch at Hotel Des Milles Collines and visit local markets like Kimironko for souvenirs. Your 4 days Rwanda gorilla trekking tour concludes with a transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
