This is a brief but thoughtfully crafted safari that takes you to Amboseli National Park, often referred to as the Kilimanjaro Royal Court. Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of elephants grazing in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, offering spectacular views of Africa’s tallest mountain. Expect close encounters with African elephants, along with sightings of other incredible wildlife.
Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Start your 3 Day Explore Amboseli Safari with a morning pickup at 7:00 am from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi. From here, drive along the Nairobi–Mombasa highway toward Amboseli National Park. You’ll arrive in time for lunch at the scenic Amboseli Sopa Lodge.
After a short rest, leave for your first game drive at 3:00 pm. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. You’ll explore open plains, woodlands, swamps, and dry lakebeds. Along the way, look out for lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, and many birds. After your adventure, return to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
On the second day of your 3 Day Explore Amboseli Safari, enjoy a full-day game drive. After an early breakfast, head into the park with a packed picnic lunch.
Spend the day watching elephants, giraffes, zebras, and maybe even some of the Big Five. The clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro make for perfect photo opportunities. In addition, Amboseli is a great place for bird watching, with many local and migrating species. After a rewarding day, drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Amboseli to Nairobi
Begin your last day with a morning game drive before breakfast. This is a great time to see wildlife when it’s most active.
Afterwards, check out and drive back to Nairobi. You’ll arrive in the afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport. This concludes your memorable 3 Day Explore Amboseli Safari.
