This tailor-made safari takes you deep into Kenya’s wilderness for a serene and unforgettable African adventure. The journey introduces you to Amboseli National Park, renowned for its vast herds of elephants and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain in the world. You’ll also visit Tsavo National Park, famous for the legendary man-eaters of Tsavo and its distinctive red elephants. Your stay will be in luxurious lodges or tented camps within the parks, and you will be guided throughout by our experienced and knowledgeable guides.
Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
ou’ll be picked up from your hotel or the airport at 7.00 am and drive south to Amboseli via Mombasa Road. Arrive in time for lunch at Amboseli Sopa Lodge. After lunch, go on to the park for an afternoon game drive, where you will see large herds of elephants and other animals from close range against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Spend 2 hours and 30 minutes in search of the big game in the park. Dinner and your overnight stay are at the lodge.

Day 2: Explore Amboseli National Park
Start your day with an early breakfast before departing the lodge at 7:00 am, equipped with a packed picnic lunch, for a full day of exploration in the park. Amboseli is home to a variety of wildlife, including jackals, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, vervet monkeys, antelopes, and the possibility of spotting leopards or cheetahs. You’ll also visit Observation Hill, an easy-to-climb conical peak that offers stunning panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Lunch will be enjoyed at the hill, with clear views of the entire park and the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. After lunch, relax while observing herds of elephants, buffalo, hippos, wildebeest, and zebras grazing just meters away. Return to the camp around 4:00 pm. You may also opt to visit a traditional Maasai village. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the lodge.

Day 3: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park
Embark on an early morning drive at first light, taking in the serene beauty of the park. Afterward, return to the lodge for breakfast, and then depart Amboseli, heading towards Tsavo West National Park. Along the way, stop at the Shetani Lava Flow before continuing your journey. Arrive in time for lunch at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge. After lunch, head into the park for an afternoon game drive. Tsavo West is home to over 500 species of birds and a wide variety of large mammals, including large herds of dust-covered red elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalo, waterbucks, gerenuks, hippos, and crocodiles. No game drive in Tsavo West is complete without a visit to Mzima Springs, where you’ll find hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat.

Day 4: Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park
After breakfast, we’ll depart the lodge and head towards Tsavo East National Park. As we exit the park, we’ll enjoy some game viewing along the way. Arriving at Ashnil Aruba, you’ll have dinner and spend the night at the lodge. Tsavo East is known for its vast herds of elephants coated in red dust and its stunning landscapes. If time allows, we’ll visit the beautiful Lugard Falls, Mudanda Rocks (a popular spot for elephants during the dry season), and Aruba Dam, all while observing the wildlife. Enjoy dinner and your overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 5: Tsavo East National Park to Nairobi
Start your day with an early morning game drive. After breakfast, you’ll continue your journey to Nairobi, arriving in the evening. You’ll be dropped off at either the airport or your Nairobi hotel, marking the end of this unforgettable adventure.
