DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT KIGALI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by our meet-and-greet lounge host who will help you through fast-track assistance with VISA and luggage collection. After immigration and bag collection, you will then be handed over to our driver guide who will transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2: KIGALI GENOCIDE MEMORIAL – TRANSFER TO VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK 

Today at 07h00, you’ll have breakfast. Thereafter, you will depart Kigali for a 3-hour breathtaking scenic drive to the Volcanoes National Park located in the Northern Province of Rwanda. Upon arrival, you will check in at the Lodge and enjoy lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will visit the Ellen campus museum to have a detailed look into the life of Dian Fossey who dedicated all her life to the conservation of the Gorillas.

DAY 3: ULTIMATE GORILLA TREKKING 

Your day begins with breakfast at 06h30 then head to Kinigi Park reception for briefing at 07h00.  Thereafter, you will be guided through the jungle to search for the shy mountain gorillas. The trek takes about 5hrs including 1 hour with the gorillas. You will get a full briefing of their family formations, and background, and observe their lifestyle in their own habitat and family setting. After this mind-blowing activity, you will return to the lodge for lunch followed by a relaxed evening whilst utilizing the complementary offers at the hotel.

DAY 4: GOLDEN MONKEY TREK – DEPARTURE

After breakfast at 07h00, you will transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing about the Golden Monkeys Trekking code of conduct before heading out to the golden monkey trails. You are granted 1 hour of observation after which, you will head back to the lodge for an early lunch. After lunch, you will head for a scenic drive to Kigali for Souvenir Shopping at a selection of key shops including Kimironko market before transferring to the airport for your departure flight.
